society does have something to hang on to, freedom. you know what amazes me is that christians are so judgemental when the man they follow wasn't.

Sorry PIM,the aclu might do good once in a while,but I think they do more to hurt this country than to help it..Where else but in the USA could the leader of the ACLU in Florida be a convicted felon.. Sad

well, several men who lead televangelist groups are convicted felons. there will always be good and bad and in between. i did not know that the leader of the ACLU in florida was a convicted felon. what was he convicted of? remember when the orlando police arrested those people for feeding the homeless? they actually took vials of the stew that they were serving. I am glad the ACLU stepped in. something completely humanitarian was being done and rich people who were frightened by homeless people lowering their property values declared a stupid law. humans have good and bad in their hearts no matter what. its up to the individual to let one or the other shine through.

Lady the guy dophin was talking about was arrested for trying to have his wife murdered.I think aclu should stand for atheist criminal league united.
I got no gripe against any relegion or peoples faith,just against people who think they can push the majority around.How many murderers rapists and child molesters are on the streets because the aclu found a loophole for them to squeeze through?
Try being a little more tolerant and respect other peoples feelings.Just because you dont agree with something it dont mean theyre wrong andyour right.
As for feeding te homless people in the park I think that thing was dne for publicity more than anything else.
You cant tell me they couldnt have found another place to legaly do it.

well you feel what you feel. and i am tolerant. what i am intolerant of is a democratically elected official imposing one religious belief on the masses. and do not call me lady. treat me with respect and at least call me by my screen name.
