Voting
in Poinciana
As
the primaries are upon us, it would be
convenient
to go over some of the rules regarding
voting in this area: ·
First,
you must be registered to vote in your particular county. You can
still register by filling out the Florida Voter
Registration Application form. ·
The
upcoming primary is ONLY for registered Republicans or Democrats; no other
party voting is allowed. ·
A
sample voting ballot will be mailed to you. ·
Early
voting will take place 18 August-2 Sept; Poinciana( Osceola)
residents can vote a the Poinciana Library; the Polk
residents that want to vote early in person have to go
to the Public Library in ·
Absentee
voting: recommended as an easy means to ensure you vote by mail; fill
out the form and the ballot will be sent to your
address. If you live in the Osceola side of Poinciana,
just call 407-343-3900. The deadline
for such a request must be received by the Supervisor of Elections NLT
5pm on the sixth day (weds) before the
primary election. (See the Absentee Voting
request form). ·
Voting:
Tuesday 5 September at voting polls in Osceola and Polk sites . For
